Fort Meade Community Credit Union
Celebrating 63 years of service to the Fort Meade Community

This institution started in 1947 as the Second Army Employees Credit Union. The Credit Union has been supporting our military personnel and Federal Civilian Employees through the Korean Conflict, Vietnam, Desert Shield, Desert Storm, as well as the war on terror in Afghanistan and Iraq. In the early 80's the Credit Union responded to the growing community in and around Fort Meade by changing its charter to a community charter and is now authorized to offer membership to individuals within 25 square miles of Fort Meade.

On Wednesday, March 17, 2010, the Credit Union held its Open House. The membership re-elected Col. Ira Snell, Ms. Myrna Hayley, Mr. Phillip Flowe and Mr. Alvin Macklin to the Board of Directors.

The following individual won the Open House raffle:

Patricia Durning – iPod
Charlett Scott – DVD Player
Virgilio Hernandez – DVD Player
Marlene Perez – MP3 Player
Patricia Potter – Luggage Set
Timothy Walker – Coffee Maker
Carmen Perez – Crock Pot
